FPS was created with the pursuit of being in the cutting edge of technology. Our company is at the forefront of numerous construction projects promoting R&D and collaborating with universities and research centers.

This allows us to implement new construction processes, improve yields, reduce time and thus satisfy the most demanding customers. In particular, our prefabrication factories, have modern research laboratories that develop investigations and comply with the work of quality assurance. The precast factory in Algeciras, for example, built the first high-strength concrete beams in Spain in 1992. This led to new experiences in the high performance concrete field that had spectacular applications in Øresund´s Bridge or Monacos’s floating breakwater caisson, where FPS, among other things, was responsible for the implementation of concrete. This is compounded by the research carried out in concrete with metallic fibers and the development of composite beams with polymer resins and fiberglass.

FPS´s boat fleet applies new processes and combines its concrete science knowledge with the maritime world in the construction of concrete breakwater and dike caissons which break records in size, geometry and materials.
